Am I Still Waiting/Link to Other Blog

Everyone keeps asking me, "Are you still waiting???"
Well, let me give you MY definition of waiting.
Waiting: not getting married while your missionary is gone.
And there's no way I'm getting married while he's gone. Jared still has his mission ahead of him. Everything is simple to me, but it seems complicated to everyone else. Which I understand. I'm focusing on my relationship with Jared and giving Preston some much needed space. He needs to get me out of his head 24/7 so he can focus on what's most important right now. His mission. Yes, we still send letters and stuff. But I'm trying to get him to focus on his mission while I focus on Jared right now.
Then, Preston will come home and we'll see how much our relationship has changed. I have no idea what will happen when he gets home. But I'm open to whatever my Heavenly Father see's fit for my life.
Some of you girls keep asking me questions that even I don't know the answer to. But I'll keep you all updated :) thanks for following this crazy adventure with me.

Girls keep asking me what my link to my blog about my relationship with Jared, so here ya go

Also, some people say, "How rude, you have two blogs about two different boys" But really, they are just like journals for me. This isn't just about Preston and the other one isn't just about Jared. They're about different experiences in my life.

  1. I think a lot of girls were under the impression that Jared was an RM and that there was a possibility of Preston coming home to you engaged to Jared. We can all breathe a sigh of relief now! Whether we MGs know you or not, I would hope we can all support you no matter what happens:)

  2. I believe in you still. I always have. I don't care how many girls are "team preston" or "team jared." Sure I know you'd be happy marrying either one, but it's not up to other people. Ugh. I think what you're doing is just fine. As long as what you're doing is between Heavenly Father and you, then there isn't anything. There is NOTHING wrong with what you're doing. I'm sorry you've received so much grief over this, but keep doing what you're doing! I'm glad you're not listening to anyone :) Love you girly!

  4. Doesn't Jared have a mission to prepare for though? How can he focus on serving a mission when you and him are so serious? Just a question that keeps popping up in my mind.

    1. The same way that Preston focused on his mission before he left :)

  5. I stumbled across your blog, and I really love reading it. I'm in a very similar situation as you, but my missionary comes home beginning of September. I absolutely love your definition of waiting: not getting married while your missionary is gone. It's so true - you never know what's going to happen in life, too. Anyway! I just wanted to say hi! Also, I think you and Jared are adorable!

  7. I am EXACTLY in your position... me and this guy have liked each other for almost 7 years now and we dated on and off. he is three almost 4 months out on his mission and we weren't together when he left but we liked each other! then I went to youth conf in a new ward and I met my current boyfriend. I don't know who I will marry but people ask me all the time what the CRAP!
